School song

In 1984, teacher Jill Rusich wrote the words and music for the current school song:

So proudly we stand
The boys and girls of Dutton Park
From many a land
The boys and girls of Dutton Park
We will work and play together
Through the fine and stormy weather
‘To Work and Succeed’
The motto of our Dutton Park

Together we stand
The boys and girls of Dutton Park
Royal blue and white so grand
The colours of our Dutton Park
As we go to face tomorrow
This we do with joy not sorrow
With good friends so true
That we made at Dutton Park

So let’s give a cheer
For our old school Dutton Park
Remember for years
Happy days at Dutton Park
As we venture on life’s journey
Though the path be smooth or stony
There’s always someone who cares
At good old Dutton Park

In the Centenary Book the original school song was reported as:

Here’s to the years of schooldays
To the friends who are kind and true
Sing the old school song
With the old school throng
And salute the red, white and blue
Make it a name we shall long remember
Make it the best of all our joys
So all join in and sing
And make the rafters ring
To the Dutton Park girls and boys
