At Dutton Park State School, the Case Management Team (CMT), focus on the special needs of our children with learning, behavioural and/or emotional difficulties and those requiring extension support. The team accepts referrals through the classroom teachers and prioritises them in accordance with available human resources.
Our Case Management Team members include our Principal, Senior Inclusion Teacher, Early Years Inclusion Teacher, Guidance Officer, Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Advisory Visiting Teachers (AVT's) and Classroom Teachers.
The team also manages the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data process, in association with Classroom Teachers and other relevant support staff. Close liaison with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) support providers and other medical staff promotes good communication relating to student needs and behaviours and enhances outcomes.
Access to our Guidance Officer, Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist and Advisory Visiting Teacher services are at the discretion of the Principal, with needs being prioritised through our Case Management process.
