School uniform

The wearing of a school uniform is a means for the child to identify him/herself with the school as a larger family unit and thus develop a sense of belonging. At Dutton Park State School students are required to wear the school uniform and dress in a neat and tidy fashion. This promotes a safe and supportive learning environment and a high level of school morale. The uniform is to be worn attending or representing the school; travelling to and from school and; engaging in school activities out of school hours.

The Dutton Park State School uniform consists of:
Girls: School polo shirt or the striped school shirt with royal blue culottes, or the dropped waist school dress.
Boys: School polo shirt or the striped school shirt with royal blue shorts.
Our school allows shirts to be either tucked in or left out.
Shoes: Must be closed in, for maximum footwear protection.
Hat: Royal blue broad brimmed hat.
Winter: Royal blue zip up or pullover fleece jumper, royal blue tracksuit pants, navy stockings for girls.
Inter-house Sport: shirts and swim caps can be worn in the house colours (Bowen is light blue, Herbert is yellow).

Uniform items are available from the school Uniform Shop, open each Monday from 8.15am - 9.00am and Thursday from 2.45pm to 3.30pm.
